She was predeceased by: her husband Chester S. Child; and her parents, Angelo and Anna. She is survived by: her daughters, Jo Anne M. (Wayne), Laura Cruz (Diego) of Hawthorne and Christine Fontanazza (Vincent Timony) of Haledon; and her grandchildren, Jessica Cruz, Christopher Hascup of Haskell and Andrew Cruz (Heather Darley) of Hawthorne.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home (111 Union Blvd, Totowa, NJ 07512). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
