Jean S Donofrio Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean S Donofrio of Wayne, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean S Donofrio to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Zaleski and Frances Zaleski (Wernicka); her husband John Donofrio; her daughter Kathryn Donofrio; her siblings, Ted Zaleski, Mary Kaszuba, Sophie Swierzynski, Frances Hrycenko, Sadie Karcewski, Loretta Fugaro and Irene Mayer; and her brothers-in-law, Michael and Gabriel Donofrio.

She is survived by: her children, Debra Murphy (Edward), Jeanann Tulpan (Ted) and Nancy Nieradka (Ken); her grandchildren, Christopher Murphy (Ann), Thomas Murphy (Allison), Steven Murphy (Jocelyn), Billy, Jamie and Stephanie Tulpan; her great grandchildren, Sarah and Tess Murphy; her brother Walter Zaleski; and her siblings-in-law, Ralph Donofrio, Louise King and Carol Donofrio. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home (111 Union Blvd, Totowa, NJ 07512). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bonaventure RC Church (174 Ramsey St, Paterson, NJ 07501). A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (52 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512).
