He was predeceased by: his brother Richard James Koziol; and his niece Emily Koziol. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Koziol; his sister Patricia Koziol; his nephew Andrew James (Quynh Koziol); and his sister-in-law Patricia S. Koziol.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Vander Plaat Memorial (113 S Farview Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home (113 S Farview Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart R. C. Church (12 Terrace Ave, Rochelle Park, NJ 07662).
