She was predeceased by: her parents, Savas Epiphaniou and Katina Epiphaniou; and her husband Christos C. Papapetrou. She is survived by: her children, Katherine Papapetrou and Gus Papapetrou; and her grandchildren, Adam J. Frank, Dr. Ashley E. Papapetrou, Christos Papapetrou and Pamela Papapetrou.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home (486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church (818 Valley Rd, Clifton, NJ 07013).

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Helen may be made to her favorite Cypriot organization, Lampousa, or the Alzheimer's Association.
