He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I know this is late, but I just found out. I was a student of Dr. Sharma and did some work with him on thiocarbamate synthesis. I always meant to go back to the school to visit him. Now I feel sad I never found the time to do so. I will always remember he welcomed and entertained discussions from his students, he also was open and trusted to have his undergrad student use the expensive equipment at WPU. The one think I will take away, and he taught by example, is to trust those that work for you”
