With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Giovanna Leone of Wayne, New Jersey, who passed away on December 11, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giovanni Scaramia and Giuseppina Scaramia; her spouse Ovidio G. Leone; and her siblings, Giuseppe Scaramia (late Rosetta), Salvatore Scaramia (Giovanna) of Hawthorne and Maria Guarino (Gerard) of Wayne.
She is survived by: her brother Ovidio Leone; her children, Josephine Leone-Mirra of Little Falls, Diana Opirhory (Douglas) of Bayville, Luigi Leone of Lincoln Park, John Leone of Paterson, David Leone and Lillian Leone-Loehwing (Scott) of Stockholm; her grandchildren, Daniela Perillo, Carmine Mirra, Davide Mirra, Jacquelynn Opirhory, Caitlin Opirhory, Ashley Opirhory, Daniel Opirhory and Christopher Opirhory; and her great grandchildren, Sofia Perillo, Sara Elphick, Samantha Mirra, Giovanna Mirra and Sasha Opirhory. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
