He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Sr. Deleu and Alice Deleu; and his wife Claire Deleu of Teaneck. He is survived by: his children, Gail (Mark), James Deleu (Lisa), Karen Steckenrider and Gerard III; his grandchildren, Leanne Robertson, Lauren Robertson, Taylor Deleu (Kerry), Clayton Deleu, Elizabeth (Josh), Josiah Steckenrider (Jennifer), Joy Steckenrider, Kyle Deleu (Olivia), Jacey Deleu and Gerard Deleu IV; his great grandchildren, Moses McElroy, Ziva McElroy and Lily Steckenrider; and his brother Edward Deleu (Patricia). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
