He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schmitt and Anna Schmitt; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Joan McBride; and his siblings, Mildred and William. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home (567 Ratzer Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
