Edward Gilmore Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2025, Edward Gilmore (Wayne, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Gilmore and Dorothy Gilmore (Waltz); his wife Carol (Platte) of Wayne; his children, Edward (Debbie) of Green Pond, Darren (Rita) of Park City, Scott of Hamilton, NJ and Darlene DeStefano (Scott) of Wayne; and his grandchildren, Chris, Brad, Brittany, Cameron, Corey, Monika, Drew, Paige, Luke, Justin and Taylor. He was also cherished by 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home (567 Ratzer Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
