He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Thompson and John William Overend; and his brothers, John (Nancy) and Doug (Linda). He is survived by: his sons, Donald (Sue), James (Joyce) and John (Sean); his great grandchild James; his wife Marilyn Stellingwerf; and his grandchildren, Jim (Kate), Jeff and Katie.
