It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Galkoski of Watchung, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda Galkoski and Joseph Galkoski; his siblings, Leona Fox (Raymond) and Joseph Carl Galkoski (Violet); and his grandson Allen Benzacken.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Galkoski; his children, June Hoffman (Edwin), Lynn Galkoski, Jennifer Zatorski (Edward) and Michael Galkoski (Kristin Dwyer); his grandchildren, Eddie, Addison, Rowan Hoffman, Jack Benzacken, Paul, Lucas Zatorski, Catherine (CC) and Michael Galkoski; and his sister Valerie Lish (Robert). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul's memory to Little League Baseball through littleleague.org for his love of the game and coaching baseball, or to New Jersey Audubon Cape May Bird Conservatory through njaudubon.org. for his love of birds and the Jersey Shore.
