With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Regina Romano (Watchung, New Jersey), born in Plainfield, New Jersey, who passed away on November 6, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Frank Romano and Phyllis Romano. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Alfio Raciti; her daughter Dr. Patricia Raciti; her son-in-law Brian DeCenzo; her grandchildren, Giuliana and Alessandro; and her brothers, Frank "Rick" Romano (Diane) and Paul Romano (Stacey).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Higgins Home For Funerals (752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069). A Mass was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola (980 Park Ave, New York, NY 10028). An entombment was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Somerset Hills Memorial Park (95 Mt Airy Rd, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920).
Memorial donations may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center, or Susan G. Komen for the Cure, in honor of Patricia's lifelong dedication to medicine and the well-being of others.
