Eileen Dorothy Liebau Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen Dorothy Liebau of Watchung, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband David; and her granddaughter Vanessa. She is survived by: her children, David (Jill), Michael (Erminia), Thomas (Susan), Robert and Michelle (Daniel); and her grandchildren, Amanda, Thomas, Holly, Christopher and Alex.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph Z. Konopka Funeral Home (9046 Palisade Pl, North Bergen, NJ 07047). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (500 Fairview Ave, Fairview, NJ 07022).

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Eileen's memory to two causes close to her heart: a local animal shelter or to her daughter, Michelle's Pittsburgh Walk to End Alzheimer's Team: http://act.alz.org — two causes close to her heart.
