Though Barbara may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Peterson (Pete) and Joan Peterson. She is survived by: her husband James Duggan; her children, Christopher, Tyler, Kyle and Emily Duggan; and her sister Pamela Borek (John).
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Higgins Home For Funerals (752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary 's Stony Hill R. C. Church (225 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069). The inurnment will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hillside Cemetery (1401 Woodland Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076).
