He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard L. Sendell and Dolores "Christianson" Sendell Sr.; and his brother Donald Sendell. He is survived by: his children, Lauren Schlaffer and Richard L Sendell III (Julia); and his son-in-law Carlos Schlaffer. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
