We bid farewell to John P Kappus of Washington, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 7, 2025 at the age of 76. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. Kappus and Bertha Kappus; and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his wife Catherine (Baines); his child Alycia Crespin (Matt); his grandchild Casey; his children, James Kappus, Bernadette Kappus and Ryan Kappus; and his siblings, Thomas (Tracey), Noel (Theresa), Robert (Cheryl), Annette Gormly (Mark) and Kathleen Plenkers (Gerd).
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church (200 Carlton Ave, Washington, NJ 07882).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Abilities of Northwest Jersey, Washington Township Fire Department (Warren County) and the VFW in Glen Gardner.
