He was predeceased by: his parents, Eladio Fernandez and Carmen Gonzalez. He is survived by: his wife Pura Mosquera; his daughter Maria Gabriela (Larry); his granddaughter Daniella; his sister Nita (Jorge); his niece Alejandra (Fernando); his sister-in-law Sara (Manuel); and his nephews, Pablo and Luis.
