He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Slean and Alice Slean; and his brothers, Sean and Bernard Slean. He is survived by: his wife Juliana Slean; his children, Lisa Loewen (Frank) and Brian Slean (Lisette); and his grandchildren, Lawrence Slean, Kevin Slean, Elish Hughes, Ann Navan and Margaret McKeown.
