With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vitalia Matyckas of Warren, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Vitalia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Vitalia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Matyckas; and her daughter Maria Hough. She is survived by: her sons, Algis (Caren), Edward and Raymond; her granddaughters, Ona and Lina; her great grandchildren, Oliver and Liam; and her brother Jonas Surdenas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Vita's enduring spirit and generosity.
