She was predeceased by: her parents, Champaklal Laliwala and Snehlata Laliwala (Panjawala); and her siblings, Indu and Ela. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Bhupendra Kapadia; her daughter Smiti; her son-in-law Akshay Nadkarni; her granddaughters, Sajni and Kavya; and her sisters, Poonam Shah of Baroda India and Niru Mehta of Ajmer India.
