With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josephine Mary Vereb in Warren, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Josephine Mary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Josephine Mary farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Scrofani and Salvatrice Scrofani; her husband Eugene Vereb; and her sisters, Millie, Jennie and Mary.
She is survived by: her daughter Jean. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higgins Home For Funerals (752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at the Hazelwood Cemetery (64 Lake Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
