He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernardo Mangunay and Renata Carlos. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Nora Ramos Mangunay; his children, Dr. Kathleen Mangunay Pergament (Joshua), Elijah Mangunay, Isaac Stuart, Asa Danilo and Jeremy; his daughter-in-law Marianne Ramos Kramer (Jordan); his grandchildren, Sybil, Daphne and Paolo Ramos (Mary); his great grandchildren, Caleb and Madeline; and his siblings, Celia, Armando, Carlos, Rogelio and Ramon. He is also survived by extended family members, friends, and caregivers.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Higgins Home For Funerals (752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Mount (170 Mt Bethel Rd, Warren, NJ 07059).
