He was predeceased by: his son Kevin Orosz; and his grandson Caden Guarnera. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Orosz (Jumiga); his children, Cheryl Guarnera (James) and Christopher Orosz of Jacksonville; his daughter-in-law Carol Orosz of Marlton; his grandchildren, Jake, Cali, Jena and Caia Guarnera; and his brother Ronald (JoAnn) of Manchester.

Richard's wish for donations can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
