With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nicholas C Discenza in Waretown, New Jersey, who passed away on January 4, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Nicholas shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Nicholas farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his daughters, Judith Bonaventura and Susan Novelle (Michael); and his grandchildren, Deanna (Steven), Angelina, Nicholas, Francesca and Julia. He is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Riggs Funeral Home (130 N Main St, Lanoka Harbor, NJ 08731). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church (33 Woodland Rd, Bayville, NJ 08721).
