He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Walsh and Anne Walsh (Conlin). He is survived by: his wife Anna Walsh (Samburgna); his children, John Walsh (Susan) and Karen Schilling (Thomas); his grandchildren, Corinne, Thomas, Allison, Kathleen Walsh, Cassandra Killian, Ryan Schilling and Kelly Schilling; his siblings, Raymond Walsh and Joyce Pfeiffer; and his sister-in-law Linda Purn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
