It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia C. Tencza (Wallington, New Jersey), who passed away on September 10, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Tlusty and Sophie Tlusty (Sudol); her siblings, Jean (Martinek), Emil, Sister Theresa Marie O. P. (Sophie), Irene and Chester (Chet); her niece Georgene; her nephew Daniel; and her former husband Thomas.

She is survived by: her husband Seton Hall.

She attributed her efforts in honor of her husband Tom, and all his scientific contributions to our society.
