It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Schaffer of Wallington, New Jersey, who passed away on July 9, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schaffer and Rosa Schaffer (Glazer); his wife Theresa Schaffer; and his siblings, Frank of Budapest, Tony of Oraszlany and Kati of Oraszlany, Hungary..
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Celmer (John) of Andover and Laszlo Schaffer (Patty) of Williamsburg, VA; his grandchildren, John Celmer (Anitra), Bonnie Batiuk (Ray), Michael Schaffer (Tammie), Dr. Christine Schaffer (David Cazee), Christopher VanDalinda (Kelly) and Lisa Napora (Krys); and his great grandchildren, Brandon, Elisa Batiuk, Ariana, Alexa Schaffer, Callan and Nolan Cazee. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Because of the state restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, services at this time will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Holy Trinity Church, 226 Harrison Street, Passaic, NJ 07055, would be appreciated.
