He was predeceased by: his parents, Szczepan and Genowefa. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Peter Szefer (Ivana) and Ewa Masiak; his granddaughters, Olivia, Jennie Szefer and Isabella Masiak; and his sister Teresa Lodygowska.
