In the sacred silence of farewell, Waltraut is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Waltraut's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her husband Rudolf; and her children, Claudia, Christopher, Carolyn and Cornelia. She is also survived by spouses, 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and her brother and sister.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (6 Osborn Ave, Manasquan, NJ 08736).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to either of her two favorite charities (American Friends Service Committee or Friends of the Parks of Monmouth County) or your favorite charity.
