She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Coplen and Margaret Coplen; her father-in-law Robert Cooper Sr.; and her brother-in-law Alan Cooper. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Cooper; her daughters, Marleigh Velba and Keleigh Cooper; and her sisters, Sandy Gilliam (Joe) and Vicki Soos (Jim).

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or American Cancer Society.
