She was predeceased by: her son Gregory J. Simpler; and her siblings, Hazel Wendt and Herman E. Friedrich. She is survived by: her children, Albert A. Simpler III, Sharon A. Simpler, Mitchel W. Simpler (Diane) and Mark W. Simpler (Ginger); her grandchildren, Cathy Wunderlich (Matthew), Jessica Curtis, Corynne Simpler, Eric Simpler, Shelby Simpler and Shanna Simpler; and her great grandchildren, Chase, Mason, Colton Wunderlich and Kalin Curtis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
