He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Bruno; his parents, Karl Johanson and Benita Johanson; and his sisters, Betty Bramhall and Marie Johanson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Johanson (Steve DeBenedett) of Brick and Kristin Doherty (Tom) of Colorado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
