He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Clerkin and Margaret Clerkin; his wife Eileen E. Clerkin; and his siblings, Thomas Clerkin and Alice Clerkin.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Clerkin (Susan) of Naples, FL, Eileen Rutz (Thomas), James Clerkin (Debbie), Rita Clerkin, Ann Marie Fowler of Sarasota, FL, Donna Clerkin of Portsmouth, VA. and Jessica Willms (Kory); his grandchildren, Colleen Rutz, Brian Rutz (Amber), Taylor Petillo, Matthew Clerkin, Travis Petillo, Lacaubeneir Bryant, Megan Fowler, Rachel Clerkin, Joey Fowler, Shannon Clerkin and Caitlin Clerkin; and his great grandchildren, Calvin, Asa, Benjamin, David Rutz, Konnor and Jordyn Willms.
