It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean M Hicks of Wall Township, New Jersey, born in Belmar, New Jersey, who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin; her sons, Donald Dombroski and Alvin Hicks Jr.; and her brothers, Robert Whitley, Roy "Buster" Whitley and Richard Whitley.
She is survived by: her son Stephen Dombroski (Heidi) of Wall; her brother Timothy Whitley (Esther) of Belmar; her sisters-in-law, Doris Whitley of Brick and Harriet Hicks of Wall; her grandson Ben Dombroski (Laura); her great grandchildren, Claire and Allison; her grandson Dave Dombroski (Maggie); her great grandchild Lydia of Wall; her daughter-in-law Patricia Newman Dombroski of Wall; and her niece Colleen Whitley Badecker of Manasquan. She is also survived by other loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Manasquan Elks or the First Presbyterian Church in Manasquan.
