He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis P. and Bernice Deckert Meehan Sr.; and his sister Florence Matis. He is survived by: his wife Ginny Hughes; his son Seton Hall; his wife Virginia "Ginny" Meehan (Hughes); and his children, Francis P. Meehan III, Bernice Lesueur (Lance), Virginia Ann Cooke (Spencer), Christopher B. Meehan (Susan) and Elizabeth Mooring (Joseph). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
