He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Mary; and his siblings, William, Helen and John.

He is survived by: his brother Edward; his children, Irene Bonner (Michael), Charles M McFadden (Ellen), Mary Ellen Naples (Dante) and Sally Ann McFadden (Luke); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Erin, Bridget, Charlie, Emily, Ryan and Jenna.

“Mcfaddens, so very sorry to hear about uncle charlie's passing. I will always remember him as a generous, warm-hearted, fun-loving life of the party. He is one of my favorite memories from childhood. Loved my summer vacations in vailsburg swimming in your pool and eating italian hot dogs. And, seeing him march two times in every st. Patrick's day parade. I know you will all miss him terribly, but i am hoping that you are all doing well. Peace, rosemary lally (enright)”
