He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Salvatore, Yolanda Occhipinti, Pasquale and Florence Mancinelli; his uncles, Robert J. Mancinelli and Michael Mancinelli; and his cousin Nikki Mancinelli.

He is survived by: his parents, Robert Occhipinti, Sr. and Donna Mancinelli; his brother Michael Anthony Occhipinti; his aunts, Laura DeForne and Denise Occhipinti; his uncle Richard Mancinelli; and his cousins, John, Julianna Occhipinti, Melissa, Jeffrey Woodhouse, Daniel DeForne, Paula, Mike DiPilla, Christopher of Danielle, RJ, Ryan, Matthew and Madison Mancinelli.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
