She was predeceased by: her parents, William and Julia; her husband Tommy Gilchrist; and her siblings, Mae, Bubby, Dolly, Ella, Doris and Billy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Irene Watson (late Chuck), Kathy Castellani (Kevin) and Christine Noonan (Paul). She is also survived by her 4 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks all donations in memory of Irene to be sent to the Waldwick Ambulance Corps at 20 Whites Lane, Waldwick, NJ 07463 and the Christopher Goodell Memorial Foundation on behalf of the Waldwick PBA at 15 E. Prospect Street, Waldwick, NJ 07463.
