With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Catherine Vitolo of Waldwick, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Catherine left this world on March 3, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Joseph, Nicholas, Dominic and Vito. She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Tony"; her children, Phyllis Vitolo of Saddle Brook, Rose (James Sarnowski) of Hawthorne, Anthony Vitolo of Sloatsburg, NY, Frances Vitolo of Hewitt and Joanne (David Becker) of Paramus; her grandchildren, Richard, Katie (Ed), Nicole and Joseph; her great grandchildren, Roselynn, Evelynn and Hazen; and her sisters-in-law, Anna and Filomena. She is also survived by sisters, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Luke's RC Church (340 N Franklin Tpke, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ 07423). An entombment was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the Garden of Memories (300 Soldier Hill Rd, Township of Washington, NJ 07676).
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Catherine may be made to St. Luke's R.C. Church.
