He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Hanks Kennedy; his children, Connor (Miranda) and Meghan Biango (Jonathan Biango); his grandchildren, Siena, Caden and Nolan; his parents, Thomas Kennedy and Eileen Kennedy; and his siblings, Kathleen Collins, Tom, Stephen, Larry, Owen, Mark and John Kennedy.
