He was predeceased by: his parents, Otilia Martínez and Eleuterio Rivera; and his sister Edelmira Rivera. He is survived by: his siblings, Gladys Rivera and William Rivera; his children, José Rivera, Rosa M. Rivera, Jesús Rivera and Enid Bocachica; and his grandchildren, Xavier, Estefania, Alex, Rosalyn, Emmanuel, Joshua and Josué.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (23 W Chestnut Ave, Vineland, NJ 08360). A Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (15 Sharp St, Millville, NJ 08332).
