She was predeceased by: her husband Ruben Plaza; and her siblings, Jorge Perez and Mercedes Acevedo. She is survived by: her children, Myrna Acevedo, Rosa "Mimi" Plaza, Ruben Plaza, Marla Claudio, Maribel Evangelista and Arnaldo Plaza. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
