He was predeceased by: his father Elijah Grant; his stepfather Jenkinson Thomas Blanche; his siblings, Robert Grant, Thomas Blanche, Ronald Blanche, Melvina Sprinkle and June Blanche; and his daughter Tonya Grant-Richberg.
He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Blanche; his sisters, Linda Blanche and Yvette Blanche; his granddaughters, Cynthia Dawn and Delores Sigler; his sons, Kevin Grant and David; his great-niece Shanasia Muhammad; and his nephews, David Sprinkle and Danny Blanche. He is also survived by Grandnephews (10) grandchildren, (4) great grandchildren.
