He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Hernandez and Aida Avila; his brothers, Orlando and Pachuco; and his stepmother Freddila Vargas.
He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Rosa, Judy Hernandez Rodriguez, Hassan Eco Richardson, Ali Nelson Hernandez, Yaseen Ibn-Nelson Hernandez and Shajhid Rajhim Hernandez; his brothers, Richard Hernandez and Peter Hernandez; and his former wife Maria Teresa Hernandez Sanchez. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home (2755 S Lincoln Ave, Vineland, NJ 08361). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
