He was predeceased by : his parents, Cayteno Diaz and Anastacia Rivera; his siblings, Santa, Josefina (Fina), Paulina, Francisca, Jose, Eugenio and Antero (Tero); and his granddaughter Jasayde Holder.

He is survived by : his daughters, Martina Diaz, Tanya and Tashia Evans; his grandchildren, Braylon Brooks, Carmine Bermudez, Thomas and Eva Russell; and his siblings, Juan (Juangito), Pablo (Tata) of Vineland, Martina (Cuca), Emma, Dominga (Lula), Ana (Anita) of Vineland and Carmen of Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home (1024 E Landis Ave, Vineland, NJ 08360). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
