She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Tisdale and Mary Tisdale (Hayes); her husband Juan A. Ruiz; and her sisters, Annette O. Ocasio and Cynthia E. Rosario.
She is survived by: her siblings, Clifton L. Tisdale of Chase City, Veda T. Branch of Chase City and Betty T. Barnes of South Hill; and her siblings-in-law, Willie N. Barnes of Chase City and Isabel Salva of Pennsauken, NJ. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives and friends.
