He is survived by: his wife Erlinda of Leon Cabrera; his children, Noel, Gerald and Harold; and his siblings, Dr. Reynaldo Cabrera, Dr. Pilar Pineda Cabrera, Dito Cabrera and Purisima Cabrera. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
