He is survived by: his wife Iris V Aponte; his children, Luis, Julio (Dana), Carmen and Dalma (Stephen); and his grandchildren, Marie, Yannelisse, Angel, Yadiel, Julio, Scarlett and Melisha. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
