He was predeceased by: his parents, Eulogio Cruz and Chala Pinero; his daughter Gloria Centeno; his sons-in-law, Pablo Centeno and Eddie Hughes (Raul Lopez); his siblings, Gerino Cruz Pinero, Miguel Cruz Pinero and Justina Cruz Pinero; and his wife Emma Louise Cruz (Sulder).
He is survived by: his siblings, Hector Cruz Pinero, Eulogio Cruz Pinero, Eugenio Cruz Pinero, Margarita Cruz Pinero and Martha Cruz Pinero; his sons, Charles Cruz of Vineland, NJ., Juan P. Cruz Jr. of Vineland, NJ., Tony (Debbie Cruz) of Atlanta, GA, Carlos (Vera Cruz) of Vineland, NJ. and Pedro (Terri Cruz); and his grandchildren, Jaunita Cruz (Raul Lopez) and Annette Cruz (Eddie Hughes). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Chestnut Assembly of God Church (2554 E Chestnut Ave, Vineland, NJ 08361). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
