She was predeceased by: her father Juan "Prin" Castro; her son Charlie Marquez; her great grandchild Brandon Merced; her grandmother Luisa Iglesias; her brother Jose Antonio "Tony" Castro; her sister-in-law Virginia Castro; and her sons-in-law, Elias Vargas, Carlos "Charlie" Casado and Lawrence Kantrowitz (Evaristo Salgado).
She is survived by: her husband Pedro Marrero; her daughters, Milagros M. Casado, Nancy Barnes (Dwayne Sr), Lourdes Cook (Jimmie), Josephine Kantrowitz and Nellie Márquez (Kenneth Jr); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Vargas, Nannette Fiorani (Kevin), Guy A. Marrero Sr., Lauren C. Holden (Dwight), Celia A. Casado, Joseph L. Casado, Dwayne S. Barnes II, Adam G. Kantrowitz, Staci White (Michael Sr.), Jaime Cook, Kenneth D. Levari III (Davina), Christopher M. Levari (Christy) and Melissa L. Garreffi (Nicholas); her sister Agripina Camacho; her cousin Nery Sbarra; and her sister Elizabeth Maguire. She is also survived by 31 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and 3 granddogs.
